Whole wheat banana muffins are my favorite muffins. Just because it’s healthy, moist, and fluffy! One can make it however one wants to. Banana is a versatile ingredient. We can add many more ingredients to make it more delicious.

Process Of Making Banana Walnut Muffins
- Start with mashing bananas in a bowl, when bananas are smoothly mashed. Add oil and sugar. Mix it until the sugar dissolves.
- In another bowl, sieve all the dry ingredients like whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Combine all the ingredients.
- Now you have two mixtures, the first is a liquid mixture and 2nd one is a dry mixture. Mix both the dry and liquid mixtures.
- Lastly, Add vanilla essence, walnuts, and choco chips and give it a good mix. But don’t over-mix the batter!
- Line the cupcake or muffin tray with parchment paper or with paper muffin cups. Grease it with butter or oil.
- Pour batter into the cups with the help of an ice cream scoop or ladle.
- Don’t fill more than 2/3 or ¾ of the muffin cup.
- Lastly, top it with more choco chips and chopped walnuts.
- Bake it at 180 degrees Celcius in preheated oven for 30 minutes. (Time may vary according to the brand of the oven)
- After 30 minutes, check by gently inserting the toothpick into the muffins. If it comes out clean it’s ready. If not cook it for another few minutes.
- keep it aside on a wired rack for a few minutes. once banana muffins are warm or cooled at room temperature.
- You can Serve warm whole-wheat banana muffins with coffee or tea!
