Raita is a mandatory side dish in my house with any Indian dish. We believe that it just jazz up any Indian meal. There are a lot of varieties of Raita, you make it in any way with veggies, boondi(gram balls), with fried eggplants, etc.

Ingredients you Need to make “Bundi ka Raita”

curd | 2 -3 cup |
boondi (Gram balls) | 1 1/2 cup |
Roasted cumin powder | 2 tbsp |
jaggery powder/sugar | 1/2 tsp |
chaat masala | 2 tbsp |
red chili powder | 1 tsp |
salt and black salt | As per taste |
How to make Boondi Raita
- First of all, take 1 cup of boondi(gram balls) and soak it in warm water.
- Now, In a bowl, take curd or greek yogurt. Whisk it until it’s smooth and creamy.
- When it’s smooth and creamy, add a little amount of water to adjust the consistency of the Curd, then add all the spices and mix well.
- After 10 minutes of soaking gram balls, squeeze all the excess water and add it to the spiced curd.
- At last, add chopped fresh coriander and mint leaves.
- You can refrigerate the Raita before serving, or you can have it however you want to.
- You can also add some gram balls on top of the boondi raita if you want crispiness in the Boondi Raita.
- Enjoy with Chicken Biryani, rice, or any Indian meal.
