  • Take 1/2 cup of water in a bowl
  • Add teaspoon vanilla essence
  • Add a few drops of yellow food color
  • Add 1 tablespoon of rice flour
  • Add 5 tablespoons cornstarch
  • Mix it well

How to make fruit custard with a custard powder –

  1. Take 1/2 kg of milk in a pan. (almond milk or cream milk)
  2. Put it on the stove to boil.
  3. When it shimmers or starts to heat, take out the half bowl of milk from it, to mix custard powder.
  4. Mix well the custard powder with milk. Make sure there are no lumps in it.
  5. When it comes to a boil, add 3 tablespoons of sugar. Add the mixed custard sauce to the boiling milk.
  6. Stir the milk till the custard sauce becomes thick.
  7. Don’t stop while stirring the milk. Stir continuously.
  8. The consistency of custard sauce should be thick.
  9. At this point, remove the pan from the stove and keep it aside to cool down.
  10. When it’s cooling, till then you finely cut all your seasonal fruits.
  11. The moment it cooled down, transfer the custard to a big bowl. Add all the chopped fruits into the custard sauce. Now your fruit custard is ready.
  12. But before serving, chill it in a refrigerator.

You can also use variations to make your fruit custard

  •  You can make custard ice cream by scooping whipped cream into it.
  • You can also add 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder to the same custard sauce to make the chocolate custard. And can add chocolate chips to add more flavors.
