Umm… Yes! That’s the real question! As I said Earlier, the location of the Guest is quite interior, and Google Maps doesn’t work in the Jungle because you may not find a signal in between the jungle.
But you don’t have to worry too much about it, CRPF camps are there in the Jungle, and you can ask anyone to help if in case you get lost. Or, you can Ask for a guide and locals before planning your trip.
To reach the Thalkobad forest rest house, First, you need to come to Kiriburu, and from there, you have to cross the Megahahtuburu Iron ore mines. While Crossing Mines, there are direction boards for the thalkobad, Keep Following them. If you get confused about the roads you can ask anyone, they will help you in finding your way.
This might seem scary but trust me! This is going to be an Adventurous ride in a serene forest.

- As it’s a village area and not a developed area, Roads are not in very good condition in some places. You have to cross muddy roads and streams in some places.
- There are no Banks or ATMs in the jungle. So, carry Cash with You.
- No shops or luxury food. So, carry your favorite snacks. You can only have homemade food there. You can cook by yourself or can ask for a chef there.
- If you are planning to cook food on your own, carry ingredients for whatever you want to cook there. That can be amazing too.
- There will be no signal in a few places.
- Don’t litter and throw plastics in the Forest.
- Don’t leave or feed food to animals.
- Always give way to Animals first.
